Terms of Use
These terms govern the Easy Staging Migration by Gami website, license checkout, license server, paid add-on, and related support. By purchasing, downloading, activating, or using the paid add-on, you agree to these terms.
Product structure
The free core plugin is distributed through WordPress.org. The paid add-on enables production publishing for approved staging changes and is sold as a one-time license for one production WordPress site. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under an applicable open source license for distributed code. These terms govern the commercial license service, activation, paid download delivery, support, and use of the paid add-on.
License scope
- One paid license may be activated on one production WordPress site at a time.
- You may deactivate a license and move it to another production site when reasonably needed.
- Staging, development, and local copies associated with the licensed production site may be used for testing.
- You may not share, resell, publish, rent, sublicense, or pool license keys, or use automated means to bypass activation limits.
- We may suspend or deactivate a license affected by fraud, payment reversal, chargeback, abuse, security risk, or material breach of these terms.
Customer responsibilities
Easy Staging Migration by Gami performs file and database operations that can change or overwrite a WordPress site. You are responsible for deciding whether the plugin is suitable for your site, confirming operation scope, testing on staging, keeping host-level or off-server backups, and verifying restore points before production work.
- Use the plugin only with proper administrator authority for the relevant WordPress site.
- Review dry-runs, warnings, selected paths, selected database tables, and confirmation screens before running production operations.
- Keep independent backups outside the plugin before important releases.
- Do not use the product for illegal activity, unauthorized access, data exfiltration, malware, spam, or activity that harms third parties.
Delivery, email, and access
License keys and download links are delivered by email after successful Stripe checkout and webhook processing. You are responsible for entering a reachable email address and checking spam or filtering systems. Contact support if a paid license email does not arrive after a completed payment.
Payment, taxes, and refunds
The launch price is $77 for one paid add-on license unless the checkout page shows a different price. Payments are processed by Stripe. Taxes, bank fees, currency conversion costs, and card issuer charges are the customer responsibility unless the checkout explicitly states otherwise.
- Because this is a digital product, purchases are generally final after the license key or add-on ZIP is delivered or activated.
- We may issue a refund for duplicate payments, failed delivery that cannot be resolved, clear billing error, or another reason required by applicable law.
- Before opening a payment dispute or chargeback, contact support so we can investigate delivery, activation, or duplicate-payment issues.
- If a dispute or chargeback is opened, license access may be suspended while the payment provider or card network reviews the case.
Support and updates
We may provide reasonable support for current versions of the product. Support does not include custom development, recovery of unrelated hosting failures, fixing third-party plugins or themes, or guaranteed response times unless separately agreed. We may change, pause, or discontinue features, license server behavior, or support processes when needed for security, compliance, maintenance, or product improvement.
No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the product, website, downloads, license server, and support are provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every host, plugin, theme, database size, multisite configuration, security plugin, cache layer, or server restriction. We do not guarantee that backups, staging copies, restores, imports, or production publishing will satisfy every recovery or release need.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gami is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or similar damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, business interruption, loss of data, loss of goodwill, failed release, search ranking change, hosting suspension, or third-party claim. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability related to the product or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the affected paid license. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Indemnity
If you use the product in breach of these terms, without proper authority, or in a way that causes a third-party claim, security issue, payment dispute, regulatory issue, or data protection complaint, you agree to compensate Gami for reasonable losses, costs, and expenses arising from that use, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the product, law, payment provider, or business operation changes. The latest version is posted on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms, except where additional consent is required by law.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, except conflict-of-law rules. Unless another venue is required by mandatory law, the Tokyo District Court or Tokyo Summary Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes related to these terms or the paid license.
