Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Gami handles information for the Easy Staging Migration by Gami website, license checkout, license server, support, and paid add-on activation. It does not replace the privacy policy of your own WordPress site.
Operator and contact
Easy Staging Migration by Gami is operated by Gami. For privacy requests, license questions, or deletion requests, contact support@wp-simple-staging.gami.jp.
Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to sell, deliver, activate, support, and protect the product.
- Purchase and fulfillment data: email address, checkout locale, Stripe Checkout Session ID, license status, purchase timestamps, and delivery records.
- License data: license key hash, encrypted license key, last four characters of the key, activated site URL, activation/deactivation timestamps, plugin/add-on version, locale, hashed IP address, user agent, and license event history.
- Support data: email address, message content, and diagnostic details that an administrator chooses to send. The core plugin does not send support reports by default.
- Website and security logs: request time, IP address, user agent, referrer, requested URL, and similar server logs used for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or card security codes on our server. Stripe may process personal data, payment method details, transaction data, device data, and fraud-prevention signals under its own privacy and security practices. Stripe Privacy Policy: https://stripe.com/privacy
How we use information
- To complete checkout, issue a license key, send the paid add-on ZIP link, and keep purchase records.
- To activate, check, deactivate, and prevent misuse of one-site licenses.
- To provide support, investigate defects, prevent fraud, respond to disputes, and protect the service.
- To maintain accounting, tax, compliance, security, and legal records.
- To improve the product using aggregated, non-content operational observations. We do not sell personal information.
Plugin data and customer site content
Backups, staging copies, operation history, and WordPress site content are stored on the customer WordPress server unless an administrator chooses to send a support report or otherwise provides files to us. Customers are responsible for the personal data stored in their own WordPress site, staging copy, and backups.
Sharing and processors
We share information only when needed for payment processing, hosting, email delivery, support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or business protection. Current processors may include Stripe, hosting providers, email infrastructure, and professional advisers. We may disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, to respond to chargebacks or fraud, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Retention
We keep license and purchase records while the license is active and for a reasonable period afterward for support, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal defense. Accounting and transaction records may be retained for legally required periods. Security logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security and operations. We may refuse deletion where retention is required for law, tax, payment dispute, fraud prevention, or enforcement.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including HTTPS, access control, license key hashing/encryption, and limited operational access. No internet service is perfectly secure, and customers remain responsible for securing their own WordPress sites, hosting accounts, backups, and administrator accounts.
International transfers
Depending on the providers involved, information may be processed in Japan or other countries. By using the service from outside Japan, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws.
Your requests
You may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of use, or information about disclosure by contacting support@wp-simple-staging.gami.jp. We will respond within a reasonable period and may ask for information needed to verify the request. Some records cannot be deleted while needed for license operation, legal compliance, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute handling.
Changes
We may update this policy when the product, law, providers, or operations change. The latest version is posted on this page.
